Bottle, bought @ Oil and Vinegar, Vejle.
Pours red-brown with a giant, frothy, beige head. Aroma is roasted, light tart liquorice, some dried fruits and chocolate. Highish carbonation, a bit thin mouthfeel. Sweet flavour, a bit sugary, light roasted with chocolate. A fine, long finish with some good, dark chocolate.

Dark ruby color, small coca-cola head. Roasted malts with some cardboard in the nose. A bit fizzy. Dark caramel malts. Some chocolate, raisin-sweetness and light coffee. Quite empty stout.

Bottled (Thanks Timo Alanen!). Dark brown colour, small beigeish head. Aroma is licorice, dark malts, some mild fruityness as well as some mild roasted notes. Flavour is quite much the same with grass and some sweetish sour notes added. More like a dark lager when cold. Once it warms up it gets the sweetish sour notes.

Bottled. A brown beer with a red shine under a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of roasted malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of roasted malt, but also with a light note of vegetables (brewing flaw?), leading to a dry and slightly bitter finish. Thanks Maria for the trade.

Dark brown colored with red hints, little vanishing yellow head. Smoked aroma with licorice and sweetness, some yeasty flowers also here. Medium bodied. Flavor is also slightly smoky with some vegetables and dry tone, I’m not sure what to take from here. Very weird beer, good tones but still nothing. Mild roastiness in aftertaste.

Bottle. Acted as a volcano when I uncorked it, and it refused to stop until half of the content was out of the bottle. Dark, dark brown body with floaties, and a beige to tan head, quite small. Coffee dominates the nose, but there’s also a light buttery note and some toffee. Coffee, sweetness, a little touch of hoppy bitterness, and a little hint of metal in the flavor. Toffee-ish, coffee bitter finish with some hops and a little buttery note. The hops last quite long, and gets better at the very end. Medium body. Upon finishing the beer, I also noticed a licorice note in the aroma. Quite nice, but I don’t think I will repeat it. (071203)
