GMCC2181 (358), Bear, Delaware, USA Jun 30, 2008 Bottle shared by robert at stateline... Maybe I am not fair to pale ales but they never have been my favorite and this one didnt make me think any different. Taste was a funky cheap bitterness that I just dont enjoy. I would not buy this beer...thanks robert for sharing .
harrisoni (5121), Ashford, Kent, England Aug 22, 2008 Bottle from GBBF 08. I don’t think I’ve had too many beers from Utah (4 before this one). Beautiful amber colour. Thin lasting beige head. Attractive enough sharp grapefruit aroma, some malt in there too. Bit of candy sugar flavour on the malts. Good solid hops all over it. Nice lasting bitterness on finish. Really delicious piney hop all through it with enough malt to balance. Very drinkable. Shame I only got one bottle. Very likeable. guzzler67 (1137), Hanover, Maryland, USA Aug 19, 2008 Clear bronze appearance with an average size, off white head. Subtle, floral hop aroma along with some toasted malt. Taste is biscuity before turning more bitter, especially in the aftertaste. Well balanced, medium bodied, nicely carbonated mouthfeel. oh6gdx (5857), Vaasa, Finland Aug 15, 2008 Bottled@GBBF2008. Golden colour, mediumsized beige creamy head. Aroma is wood, hops, fruits and some tropical fruits. Flavour is hops, grass, some fruits and quite much nectary sweetness in the finish. mjg74 (1772), La Mesa, California, USA Aug 14, 2008 Bottle from Ely, NV. Dark amber pour. Strong hoppy aroma with solid maltiness. Well balanced brew. Seems more like an amber to me. My bottle was 5.8%. hughie (2194), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England Aug 9, 2008 Bottle at GBBF ’08. Copper gold. Hop aroma developed into some sweetness. Sweet taste with plenty of fizz. Leafy sharp bitterness in the conclusion.
