nearbeer (1383), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Oct 12, 2008 12 oz, bottled May 7, 2008. Clear and effervescent, pale gold. Huge meringue cap endures well and leaves crunchy lace behind. Aroma of lemongrass and spicy honey. Flavor is similar, plus the addition of husky grain and a hint of cinnamon. Light-medium body is smooth, with a small hop tingle and a dryish finish. One of the better American examples of the style.
