Commercial Description:
Bristlecone Brown is malt-accented, but with a firm, nutty dryness and gentle fruitiness that's reminiscent of the classic English nut brown style.

Draft at the brewery in SLC. Medium dark brown/amber color with a large tan head. Light flavors overall, some nuts, almonds, pine, maple... but not that robust or full. Very light flavor and an even lighter aroma of nuts and bread and maple malts esters.

3.2% draft @ brewery. Nut Brown Ale. Starts dry with nice warm mouthfeel. Oatmeal with a nice light crisp finish.

This brown ale pours iwth a dark red-brown body topped by a medium thick, tan head with lots of lacing. The aroma is slightly roasty, nutty and malty with a slight mustiness, a touch of sweetness and a slight hoppiness. The flavor is slightly sweet yet bitter, roasty and malty with a slight muttiness. Not a bad flavor. Light to medium bodied and smooth.

Small brownish head on brown yet somewhat clear bottle pour. Light toasted nut nose, with some sweetness. Flavor is well balanced between the roasted nutty flavor and a small sweet malty back. Medium body that finishes clean.
