Just checked and it is in fact my second. Lemony yellow body with cloudy notes, and a small, compact off white head. Settles fairly quickly, leaves no lace. Fore is bland, watery citrus, something that resembles wheat, and not much else. Pretty hard to get anything from this puppy. A 5 here might be generous, but you know, it is the Holidays. Unfortunately the flavor is just as bland and forgettable as the aroma. Light bodied, watery finish. High carbonation. Blech.

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 2, 2009 Thanks Hayduke! Lots of sediment remained in the bottle after the pour. A cloudy and dirty golden beer with a half inch white head. A bit of orange in the aroma with wheat and earthiness. Flavor is also wheat, earthy, yeast. Nice crispness and this would be a nice summertime beer. Refreshing. Nothing like clove or banana here and those flavors, would have been welcome. hayduke (1677), Eureka, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 25, 2009 From a 12 oz bottle this poured a hazy gold with a medium white head and light lacing. Nose of wheat and a medium mouthfeel. Flavor of malts and light floral hops. smcolw (373), Wayland, Massachusetts, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 21, 2009 Large chunky yeast in the cloudy light gold liquid. Light head that dies to a single layer of bubbles. No lace.
Strong barnyard stinkiness on the initial pour. Once it mellows, there isn’t much to the smell.
My wife who is a fan of Hefe’s didn’t like this one. I found it to be drinkable but unremarkable. Some wheat and yeast flavors. Mild sourness in the swallow and a notable minor amount of hop bitterness. Neutral body and carbonation.

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 16, 2009 Pours clear gold into a weizen. Bright white head quickly recedes to hug rim. Sour wheat aromas. Crisp and watery - some grains. Rciesla (3865), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 5/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | May 13, 2009 Bottle. Pours an orange copper body with a thin white head. Aroma is bready with cereal notes and hints of cherry. Flat and thin with a cherry malt character and an earthy grainy finish. This is either infected or needs a golden spike through it. Freaking horrible. Where the hell is the hefe in this bottle. heemer77 (4311), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 20, 2009 Dark amber body with a bright white head. The aroma has some of the expected clove and banana. However, there is also an earthy sweat smell that is a little off putting. The taste has some light mango and bananas. There is also some light clove, but it only comes through in the finish. There is a grassy finish. It is ok. nathan30533 (164), Dahlonega, Georgia, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Mar 6, 2009 Foggy, good blend of spice and malts. Good brew. Great balance. Good taste, good look. BelgianBeerGal (1322), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 22, 2009 Bottle in Brian Head. German hefeweizen? Seemed more like an American styled wheat beer to me rather than German inspired. It was still refreshing but definitely lacked some of the typical hefe characteristics.
