Commercial Description:
André Paeleman refers to this blond beer with a fruity, bitterish taste, as a "living tripel from Wetteren". It is brewed with pilsener malt, oats, two types of hops and a herb. The name "Uitzet" comes from the beer of the same name that was brewed in 1730 by the publican and brewer Verstraete.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. The look is clear but cloudy, golden in color with a decent white head. The smell is fruity, yeasty, alcohol, some light tartenss, and sugar. The tast is sweet, malts, yeast, fruits. sort of blah.

Bottle. Body-medium ring of bubbles, medium gold. Nose-cork, Chardonnay, urea. Tatse-spikey, medium sweetness, oxidation, wood, strawberry. Not bad. I could drink this every day and be happy. Sweet in a berry kinda way.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. I am guessing this has some age on it. Nice Sharpie labeling. Pours with a huge white head over a hazed yellow body. Aroma of cobwebs, old books, bread, leather, dirt, candi sugar and rotting wood. Taste is sweet with cobwebs, bread, biscuit and honey. Lots of oxidation notes. Light bubbles and dry.
