Feb 25, 2006 Dark brown colour. Quite chewy, crazy intense dark malts. The malts never really gel but it’s an interesting beer and not awful.

Feb 17, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. Transparently black. Light coffee aroma. Very sweet with syrupy mouthfeel. The flavours of coffee and chocolate are overpowered by molasses. Fairly low bitterness, notes of burnt malt. Unrefined.
