Cask Small white rim over dark red-chestnut beer. Earthy, leafy and slightly (sweet-)bready notes, as eggbread. Malty, sweet, good quality malts. Sweet, again bread or patisserie-lik malts, with a discreet afterthough of ligthly bitter hops. Retronasal there’s a flavour as from "Haagse Hopjes (Dutch coffee caramels; even a bit smokey, warming up. Medium bodied at best, a bit slick. Filled in by restsugars. OK beer, quite nice. Just not Strong - as the pumpclip adds to the above name.

Cask Conditioned. Dark brown beer, full bodied, christmas pudding beer. Lots of fruit, sultanas, apple. Tastes a little like malt loaf.

Cask conditioned - handpump - White Horse - Parsons Green London SW6. A mid brown beer with a sourish fruity alcohol aroma. The alcohol does come through later in the taste as does some fruit, but it is a bit thin.

It was really awesoome, but the clip makes you have a vbery bad times when drinking it. The aroma and the flavor were great, and the foam great.

Cask@GBBF2007. Deep amber colour, small head. Aroma is unflavoured yoghurty sourness along with wood and slight fruityness and earth. Flavour is pretty much the same with some caramel in it. The caramel also stays for long in the aftertaste.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2007, London. Light unclear amber color with a small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty , toasted, butter, brown sugar. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a average duration. (Sugar sweet) Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is flat.

Cask conditioned at the White Horse, Parsons Green, London. Malty, indistinctive beer that lacks character compared to others today. It loses points, on another day with less stiff competition - who knows.
