May 15, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear, deep golden with a white head. Nice lacing. Slightly tart, sweetish, malty bread aroma. Interesting for a pilsner, but a bit cloying. Flavour is malt and molasses with remote hops in the background, ending in a caramel finish. Again; interesting for the style, but a bit cloying, although not as much as the aroma. Still beats most pilseners I’ve tried though. Some metallic notes as it warms. Mild bitterness lingering in the finish. Notes of apple as well. 15-05-09.

May 9, 2009 Flaske: Egentlig en meget sjov øl. Man forventer en pilsner men gæren er meget dominerende i forhold til humlen. Og når det samtidig er tydeligt belgisk gær tænker man, er den virkelig undergæret>? Men drikbar er den dog.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lancing, fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, grain, hay. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to lively. (230508)
