Bottle: Poured a dark brown with light brown head. Aroma is sweet sticky fruit and roasted malts. Taste is sweet fruit with spices and just enough alcohol to make it winey.

More attitude than the blonde, there is a lot of head on a deep brown body. Medium plus mouthfeel, with a tad of bittersweet cocoa and lots of chocolate malt. Bit of sour finish and strong carbonation. Alcohol catches up to you. Overall satisfying. Thanks Phyl21ca/boutip for the hitchikers.

75 cl bottle at Delirium Café, Göteborg, Sweden. Hazy copper, thin beige head. Candyish, a bit roated malt aroma, with clove and cinnamon. Very smooth mouthfeel. Unbalanec flavour with a cloying sweetness, and unmasked alcohol. Still, quite interesting.

Bottled. Very much Belgian X-mas here, overloaded with spices. Dark brown colour. Sweet cake with clove and very spicy nose. Banana tidbits, thick mouthfeel and seet with apparent alcohol. Bit too much. Gingerbread. Licorice. Overwhelming sweetness. Props though for the fact that something is happening here.

Bottle, at Plan B, RBESG pub crawl, August 2005. Quite dark colour, with some reddish notes. Quite yeasty aroma, with plenty of spices showing through. Plenty of plummy, cherry fruit on the palate, with more festive spices - cinnamon to the fore. Quite sweet, and full, but remains clean on the palate. Very nice.
