Darkish brown with a thin off white head. Not too great too look at and a boarderline two. Sweet and roasty with rather a lot of fruit giving an odd sourness. Some brown sauce does it no favours. Slight bitterness in the finish.

Aug 15, 2008 Cask@GBBF2008. Deep brownish amber colour, small off-white head. Coffee and some sweetish sour fruits in it. Flavour is roasted malts with sour wood, dark berries and fruits. Some licorice.

Aug 6, 2008 Dark brown with medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, grassy hops and bitter coffee. Sweet flavor with roasted malt, coffee and liquerice notes. Ends dry and somewhat bitter.
