Apr 5, 2008 Found at Tokyu department store food hall in the Shibuya neighborhood (go to level B1 when you arrive at the Ginza train line station, as the Tokyu store’s immediately above the station and the food halls are immediately below the Ginza line). There are about 30 Japanes micros. The brew is sweet and dark, sort of a cross between a dunkel and a schwarzbier. The Japanese might even call this a porter. A hint of tartness/sourness, actually. Full-bodied for a schwarzbier. Probably a bit like the Yebisu Black so commonly found around town.
