Jul 12, 2009 (Growler thanks to blutt59) Pours a dark mahogany with great head and lacing. Sweet biscuit, alcohol in the nose. Alcohol in the taste too, but not out of place. Beer has a great sweet linger with perfect carbonation. Some dark candi sugar and banana in this one, tons of flavors but can’t pin them all down. Quite complex and well done!

Jun 28, 2009 (Growler, courtesy of blutt59) Pours a deep amber body with a small beige head. Aroma of coriander, brown sugar, dates, toasted grain, and dark candi sugar. Flavor of dark candi sugar, raisins, dates, coriander, nutmeg, banana, nuts, and Belgian yeast. Quite complex and well crafted. Nice beer to celebrate a second anniversary.

Jun 26, 2009 Growler thanks to Blutt59. Pours a deep reddish brown with off-white head. Aroma of alcohol, nutty, caramel, some fruit. Flavor is sweet, nutty, caramel, spicy, some dark fruit. Mouth feel is medium-heavy body with high carbonation. Over all, pretty good stuff!!!!
