Jan 23, 2006 Nearly flat, som big dirty-beige bubbles over near-black beer. Very discreet nose; bit of liquorice, roasted malt or barley and a touch meaty. Heavy burnt/roasted malts, dry-ish but still some sweetness in the background. Cigarette ash flavour, some liquorice. Warming up, definitely bubble gum flavours. Thinnish, absolutely not up to its 7%. Bo-oring beer, flat as a pancake and tired to death, even when the back label accords it another 9 months of shelf-, sorry, cellarlife.

Dec 8, 2004 Bottled. Transparently black, small head. Big licorice and anise aroma. Dry with clean but creamy mouthfeel. Loads of coffee. Medium bitterness.
