Bottled. A dark nut brown beer with no head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of nuts and caramel, though with an underlying acidity. The flavor is sweet and acidic with notes of nuts and caramel, leading to an acidic finish.

Bottle. Black with a small creamy beige head. Berries and some caramel rush to the nose. Tart berries flavours. Maybe a porter, but never a stout.

Bottle conditioned, 500ml. Dark brown with tan head. This seems to be a cross over between a strong mild and a stout. Dark, chocolate bitter malts give a grainy texture to the beer with hints of liquorice and treacle, although not sweet. Bitter on the finish with a tea like taste.
