I love so many of the world class belgian style ales that Unibroue makes. This...is weak, cloudy green apple hard cider. It’s about as close to beer as a doorknob. Surprised at the high rating here.

Pours a nice amber colour, pretty cloudy, with a thick foamy white head. Aroma is sweet malts with a hint of apples. Flavour is very similar, plenty of sweet caramely malts, and a reasonable mix of sour apple cider sort of flavour. Could be a little stronger in my opinion, but still pretty tasty. Not much in the way of hops, but that’s probably fine for the beer. As it warms up a bit the apples come out a bit more. Not quite what I was expecting, but not bad at all. Carbonation is maybe a bit too high, but not terribly so, and it isn’t watery, but I wouldn’t call it creamy either.

Interesting brew. Medium sized head, cloudy gold apperance. The apples clearly come through in the aroma and the taste. Slight spice to the taste. However, the beer itself is pretty average and unnotable, which was a disappointment and brings it down overall.

Bottled. Very interesting rating. High scores for the green apple aromas and flavor. Unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. Average appearance - cloudy and yellow with a frothy white head. Palate was a little too carbonated. This was a very tough beer to rate. Very unique and strong aroma and flavor - but I didn’t really like it. Not my favorite style, but most people will respect the efforts.

Bottle 341ml. @ home.
Clear medium yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, moderate to heavy apple. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration. (Sweetness is chemical apple flavor and a bitte annoying). Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft.
