ksurkin (54), Norfolk, Virginia, USA Jun 28, 2008 bottle from G&G poured into a pint glass. pours a clear, light gold, with a bubbly head. aroma is very pleasant. sweet apple, plum, sugar, cotton candy, and a little spice. flavor is refreshing with apple dominating, and some cinnamon, spice, and orange following. high carbonation makes for a light mouthfeel and easy drinking. very short lasting aftertaste. not really my thing, but a quality fruit beer.
Dedollewaitor (1906), Odense, Denmark Aug 19, 2008 Bottle. Pours hazy golden with a white head.
Nose & taste is yeasty & of fruity apples. Quite sweet & sugary. Medium & light bodied. Ok! beerbill (1243), Laurel, New York, USA Aug 19, 2008 2005 Vintage, 750 ml bottle shared with my wife. Pours a hazy pale gold with a moderate white head that faded to a film before mid-glass and left very little lace. Pleasant subtle aroma of apples with some mild yeast. The flavor is again subtle with some light sweet malt and a bit of yeast up front, followed by some apples. Very refreshing actually; this is a nice summer beer. Ephemere is a good name to describe this beer. thejon375 (81), Tampa, Florida, USA Aug 18, 2008 Decent fruit beer. Unibroue is one of my favorite breweries, but I guess they had to make this to appease a small crowd of fruity beer drinkers. Subtle apple flavor, much better than Woodchucks. rcweir (92), Massachusetts, USA Aug 17, 2008 Cloudy amber (honey) colored, aroma is sour apple and cloves, a sip brings a little heffe taste as well, Dry, medium body and carbonation, crisp.
