Light cloudy orange-brown with a thick white head. Yeasty, sweet roll aroma, bready and sugary. Flavor is sweet with bits of apricot, orange, overripe plums, and a fairly big alcohol presence that puts one in the mind of brandy. Slightly sour bittersweet finish. Wonderful.

Pours a deep bold orange. Smells of apricots, apples, straw and sour mash whiskey. Tastes, alcohol, orange hard candy, maple, banana, and ginger. Smooth lingering finish of candy and spice. Nice.

Apricot amber color...lingering creamy head. Aroma of biscuits, bread and amber malt. Rich, sweet, creamy body and flavors of amber malts and subtle tropical notes...some lovely yeast esters as usual with Unibrou. Some spices, bubble gum, powder sugar, white pepper, bitter tropical fruit, alcohol, ginger. Should age nicely.

750ml bottle. Pours a lovely cloudy amber, with miles of fluffy pillowing head that produces an absurd amount of sticky lacing. Pineapple, citrus, and various spices fill the nostrils. Sharp stinging cider in the mouth. Tropical fruits lined up and knocked down in succession. Warming, glowing, biting; a very good beer.

Pours very cloudy, dark amber, with a small head that leaves minimal lace. Aroma is strong tutti-fruity bubble gum. Lots of phenols in there and hints of hops. Flavor is more big bubblegum, finishes very sweet, a little cloying. Body is very full for style. Sits heavy in the stomach.

(Bottle) Dark amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, complex, slightly vinous nose with apricots, banana, vanilla, caramel and yeast. Fruity, malty taste with dried fruit, apricots, fresh ginger, liquorice, anis, cola and distinct notes of ginger-bread cake. Malty, chewy, fiery finish, sweetish but not as sweet as I feared. Complex and balanced. Tasty and nice. Alcohol not as evident as suspected, but coming through with a kick after a while. Very nice beer.

750ml bottle. Split with kmoonlegend. Pours a gorgeous deep hazy orange-brown murk. Nose is spicy hops, yeast, some fruit. Mouth is same with a bread-like texture. Nearly no indication of alcohol, amazing for how strong it is. It is easily recognized as a Unibroue due to its spritzer palate.

The pour is deep straw colored, with a hazy hue. The nose is yeast, fruits, and slightly hoppy. The flavor is fruits, hops, and a slight alcohol warming. A pleasant beer, but I expected more from an anniversary brew.
