Cloudy orange/brown head. Fruity fresh, spritzy aroma with spicy yeast. Flavour is pale malty, bit citric, with spicy yeast. Full-bodied with alcohol shining through and pale malty sweetness and alcohol evident. Good house yeast as always with Unibroue. Moz (613), Gothenburg, Sweden

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 5, 2007 December, 2009--I think it’s safe to assume this is the best by date, 750mL. Effervescent orange copper with a three finger light beige head. Yeasty aroma with plenty of fruity apricot, a little lemon, sweet caramel, and some white pepper and spicy alcohol. Flavor had the addition of some dust, stronger caramel and alcohol flavors, Semidry finish.Highly carbonated like all of Unibroue’s beers and a full body that doesn’t seem as full while the carbonation is so high. Good beer overall, but there are plenty of year round beers from Unibroue I’d rather have. bager (2121), Copenhagen N, Denmark
