Aroma seems fairly light to me. Very bready/yeasty with some good malt notes. Slight hints of citrusy hops and alcohol. Appearance is very nice caramel brown. This beer shines for flavor. Somewhat biting carbonation on the tongue, the alcohol is noticeable. Has a good definite Belgium characteristic flavor.

Slightly cloudy deep caramel colored pour. HUGE foamy off-white head. Nice nose – spicy Belgian yeast, a bit a banana, small amount of candy sugar. Smooth silky mouthfeel, very active carbonation. Flavor is very sweet and fruity, dominated by the Belgian yeast character. Nice!

(750ml bottle) Courtesy of Goldorak. Pours a frothy, tan head with a deep ruby brown body. Nose is similar to a weak La Terrible. Very smooth flavour, almost vanilla-like with a mild plum backing. Alcohol bites the back of the throat. Interesting.

Pours mahogany with a small head. Aroma is sweet malt and sour fruit (cherry ?). Flavor is sweet with caramelized fruit in the foreground. There is a fairly strong alcohol presence along with a bitter hop finish. A good strong ale.

Bottle shared by DYCSoccer17. Hazy red-orange with voluminous head. Deep bready, yeasty aroma, fenestrated with lots of spice and phenols, cinnamon. Sweet, spicy, fruity (orange) flavor with mild metallic notes. Finishes sweetish and slightly salty.

Pours a hazy reddish brown with an off-white head. The nose is full of spice, sugar, cloves, and alcohol. Bubbly in the mouth and warming down the throat, the taste is a blend of banana, spices, alcohol, and cinnamon. Pretty nice to relax once or twice with a bottle in a lifetime, but that is probably about it.

Sampled from a 750ml bottle. Honet gold hued. Off-white head. Floral perfumy nose. Slightly earthy with a biscuit touch. Mild and smooth. Nice burn. So easy! Great edition. Honey smooth with mild effervescence. Fruity. Good. Leaves a bitter almost acidic finish. Coating brew.

Pours with an amber body with orange accents topped by a thick head with some lacing left behind. It’s slightly sour with an underlying sweetness, some malt notes, a hint of banana and lots of clovy, yeasty notes. Medium bodied, smooth and a bit dry.
