Drity orangish red. Pretty strong fruitish aroma. Rich taste. Syrupy. Light fruit taste that is somewhat refreshing but still very mild. Sweet.

ah, my first new beer in almost 2 weeks. boards is a bitch. appearance is a nice deep opaque caramel with large foamy head. smell definitely has a candi sugar backbone, but it isn’t as pronounced as so many other unibroue’s. i wouldn’t even say this has that distinct unibroue aroma. a bit of acetic acid in the aroma, some wood and yeast and honeyed almonds. body is too carbonated and a bit too light. it’s very drinkable though, at this temperature (right out of fridge). there isn’t a ton of flavor, there’s sorta some fruit in the middle/back on the middle of the tongue. surprisingly not super sweet and malty. almost no alcohol, though a bit of sourness kinda fools you into thinking it’s there. it’s weird, there’s basically no base to this beer. i dont know if i dislike the fact that it’s so light bodied because i felt like i’d earned a big beer tonight, or if i like it because i could drink a couple bottles of this easy if i was at a party. in any case, not by any stretch my favorite unibroue........... almost an hour later. alcohol shows more, but little else has changed. it’s also strangely a bit tart.

Hazy amber body with a somewhat loose, frothy and fully fading off-white head. Nice aroma of caramelized malt and sugar with hints of clove, fruit peels and spice. Medium sweet with some nice fruity malt characters and a good yeast profile. Solid and pleasing sipper. Best Unibroue anniversary beer in a while.

Orange brown pour with a thick tan head.Unibroue yeast aroma, and spicy as well. Medium sweet/ spicy flavour, kind of "Maudite" like. The malt begins to show as it warms and the carbonation settles down, nice thick mouthfeel. A fairly good B.S.A. but maybe Unibroue could try other styles of belgian beers.

Pours a dark brown, has great lacing. Hints of dark fruits, a lot of spice, and yeast. Finishes sweet and spicy on the tongue.

Big malty chewy beer. Strong aroma of yeast, toasty dried fruit. Flavor is also malty with a strong yeast and dried apricot flavor. The alcohol cuts the sweetness and balances the mouthfeel nicely. Nice fat finish. Better than 15, better than most.

One of Unibroue’s best beers. This starts with the house character, but there is something extra. The aroma is clearly Belgian, with yeast and lots of spice, some fruit, maybe apple. A cloudy red color. Good body. The alcohol is hidden, rather than dominant like in so many Unibroue beers. Sweet, fruit finish.
