| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 26, 2008 A hazy dark amber ale with a thick creamy white head. In aroma, a strong ester and fruits¸, yeasty, coriander, typical Unibroue profile. In mouth, a good candy sugar, heavy coriander, orange peels, light belgian hops in final. Rich and smooth. Light alcohol in finish. Tasted early 2007. VitaminR (434), Colorado, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 20, 2008 Raisin caramel and pepper nose. Deep ethereal amber color, lively head with good lacing. Citrusy bright with leather sugar and pronounced bitterness for balance. Huge carbonation, full mouth feel, long finish is bitter orange peel and a satisfying warm burn. Excellent beer, very expressive in all its flavors, would probably age well. beerbill (1951), Laurel, New York, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 16, 2008 750 ml bottle. A bit of a gusher when opening the bottle. Pours a cloudy brown with a moderate off-white head that lasted through mid-glass and left a layer of lace with each sip. Pleasant aroma of apples, yeast, and just a bit of sugar. The flavor is very nice with caramel, yeast, apples, and spice all present. Effervescent and lively on the palate. Overall a very good beer. hoplover (166), Corpus Christi, Texas, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Oct 12, 2008 Poured a tan color with an effervecent white head. Real bubbly. The aroma is very malty and a little sour. The flavor is the same, pretty sour. Dredd (491), Ormond, Australia
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 9, 2008 After two years of bottle age, this has matured perfectly. Sweet toffee and brown sugar aroma, pour is light brown hue with a solid beige head. Flavour is burnt sugar, ultra stewed fruits and long bitter finish.
Mouthfeel is good with a creamy texure that implies vanilla that may or may not be there. At no point does this one let it out of the bag that it is 10%.
Another well crafter Unibroue beer. CaryTheDude (1113), Longmont, Colorado, USA
