Bottle. Sweet yeasty aroma. Deep mahogany body, thick beige head. Flavor is sweet and spicy, with ripe fruit, banana, and caramel. A little too sweet. Some alcohol burn in the finish. On the whole, not bad, but with too much sweetness and too much foreground alcohol.

Bottle:   Muddy colored, very dirty caramel, dark, moderate frothy off-white head, dies quickly, spotty lacing.   Bready nose, heavy, soft dark pitted fruit spices.   Smells like yer typical Unibroue albeit not as heavy.   Its almost like a Triple crossed with one of the darker brews.   Soft fig, plums, and raisins on the tongue.   Bready, with that signature house yeast flavor.   I certainly respect Unibroue, very much enjoy their beers, but all the Anniversary brews seem to be coming out nearly the same.   Why not do a Flanders Red, or something wildly different from their normal lineup.   Anyways, this one reminds me of a blend of La Fin Du Monde and Maudite.   A little Triple, a little Dark Strong Ale.   Certainly enjoyable, and one I wouldn’t want to pass up, but one that is easily forgetable.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate to full.   Its quite bubbley on the tongue, as most Unibroue beers.   Tiz somewhat alcoholic on the finish, but not harsh.   Certainly tasty, but not all that original.   Just like all the other Anniversary beers, slightly different but nothing out of the ordinary.

750 ml bottle thanks to my bro for sharing. Pours a dark brown red with a thick billowy light tan head. Aroma is spicy as hell, tons of clove and dark fruits, some yeast and banana. Definitely some candi sugar apparent along the good biscuity malts. Flavor starts with some strong dark fruits, getting slightly zesty and borderline citric. The spice continues to show strongly and in the swallow some booze and tobacco comes out. Medium body and a sharper carbonation. Very interesting beer, lots of stuff going on, kinda boozy but pretty good

Bottle. Pours a brune body with a tan off white head. Etoh latent fruit, fig, dates, and some honey notes. Woody with wet wood and vanilla tones, licorice, and oak. Warming with some vinous notes and a chewy malt backbone. Great stuff.

Bottle and served in my Unibroue tulip: Brown hued with amber highlights topped by an initial frothy head and spotty lace. The aroma has notes of dark candi syrup, raisins, fig, plum, toasty and biscuity malts, earthy and woody esters with a touch of smoke and mint. Most of the hops have faded but there is some resiny and spicy vapours still around. The taste is malty, syrupy and fruity with a herbal, boozy and dusty finish. A tad oxidized but it works within the framework of the profile., a touch salty too. The mouth feel is lively and the aggressive, chalky finish with moderate warming. Overall a solid brew that is sort of like a abt/quad light. With the oxidization coming on, this is not much longer for aging. Drink now.

750mL bottle, pours a dark brown with a reddish tinge and thick off-white head. Subtle but wonderful aroma of dark fruits, malt and vanilla notes. Flavour is roasted/dark fruits (particularly black currant), vanilla and yeast at the end. Mouthful is creamy and well-balanced. A wonderful Unibroue brew.
