Yellow-brown with a small head and lots of grainy sediment. Mild but pleasant aroma of soft spice and tart fruit. The flavour is less yeast and more malt than many other Unibroue offerings. Nice mouthfeel and gentle carbonation (for Unibroue). Nice beer. JulienHuxley (235), Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada

Hazy pale yellow appearance. Fruity yeasts and alcohol in the taste. Very ordinary. cfrancis (358), Gloucester, Ontario, Canada

Aroma is of alcohol, yeast and spices. Taste is a fantastic play on your mouth with yeast, spice, fruity and spices to tickle your palate. This is a fantastic belgian that I will no doubt have again at some point. mabel (2626), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Fruity spice yeast aroma has nice bread spices infused throughout. Hazy, light orange brown body with a long-lasting foamy white head. Fruity yeast flavour has sugary malt and a long sweet finish. Medium body. Yum! Very tasty and refreshing, seems to be in excellent shape.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 7, 2009 Bouteille 341ml. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 26, 2009 Poured out a hazy yellow beer, totally unfiltered with a huge puffy white head that did die and left no more than a ring. Very little spotty lacing and a tiny amount of sediment. Awesome aroma! Stiff spice, bananas early on, more nice warm spice, some citrus (orange) and mild yeast. The taste is fairly mild with a faint touch of alcohol, a bit of yeast - which is very balanced and excellent - seemingly better than other Unibroque stuff. Soft and balanced. The mouth feel is smooth with some heated spice on the finish. Pretty much medium bodied. An excellent beer. Cirrhosis (623), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 5, 2009 Straw yellow mildly cloudy with a thin white head that doesn’t seem to want to leave and had ok lacing, nice looking beer but not great. Sweet flowery yeast and a touch of banana aromas fill the nose smooth and enjoyable but maybe a touch mild. Sweet smooth wheaty taste, along with your typical Unibroue yeast flavor, very floral tasting along with some mild spices, no alcohol can be detected. Smooth and refreshing with an enjoyable flavor great beer and I’ll pick it up again Diogène (584), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
