Pours a hazy pale white/yellow/green with a nice sized head. Aromas of citrus, coriander, the mustiness of wheat, and unibroue yeast. Tastes like lemons, coriander, wheat, spice, yeast, and pear. Nice mouth feel, lively carbonation. Meh, kind of a let down from Unibroue.

A very pleasant aroma that just lightly hnts at the fruit flavours, which are just as lght in the flavour as in the smell. The first taste is very bold but it’s far from overpowering and is very balanced and mellows out quite nicely, very clean.

12oz bottle. Pours a hazy yellowish orange with a thin white head. The nose is light citrus, wheat, malt and light spice. The taste is light citrus, apricots, yeast, coriander and wheat. Crisp dry finish with a lighter prickly body. Very refreshing brew.

Bottle, 75cl corked. It pours a hazy, yellow-golden body under a dense, creamy, white head. There’s a touch of tobacco on the nose, some pine, citrus, a little banana and spices. Quite complex. Banana and citrusy, along with coriander and other spices in the mouth, with a fine bitterness, showing all of itselves in the finish. Dry, medium-bodied, smooth and well-carbonated. A really pleasant witbier. (081229)

This poured a cloudy yellow color with a white head. Aroma was a bit sour, wheaty and spicey. Flavor was a bit sour and spicey. Decent, not great.

...bottle. Pours a cloudy light orange, with a creamy white head that lasts all the way. One of the best blanche’s I have ever tried, and I have had alot. Loads of fruits on the nose, including pear, peach, white grape, apple and orange. Flavors are very fruity, with vanilla, citrus, with a hint of corriander and clove. Lots of wheat and yeast too, with nice sediment in the bottle. Creamy, great carbonation with a medium body that goes down so well. FInished creamy with lots of fruit and wheat. I would have to say this is great shit. It’s a shame it is so expensive. Definitely try this if you like wit’s\wheat’s. I can’t believe Canidian’s make this, ha haha. Blame Canada!

2005-05-18 750ml Bottle shared with Grand Genie. Pale golden hazy apearance with minimal white head. Aroma: coriander, pear and lemon. Flavor: salty, lemon and white grapes. Palate: light body, lively carbonation, oily.

12 oz bottle. Pours hazy gold with a small llasting white head. Smeels like pear and grape. Tastes like apricot and pear, some white grape. A little yeasty and dry, but smooth and sweet. Nice brew.
