Mellow biscuit sweetness, slight peppery bitterness. Big snappy carbonation, medium body, crisp and spicy finish. Really pleasant beer, easy drinking, but flirts with big complexity. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 14, 2009 A hazy golden beer with a 2 finger disappearing head. Aroma of fruit(peach), & funk. Taste was fruity, spicy, & taste like an average Belgian beer, with a carbonated mouthfeel. jfenglish (217), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Aug 9, 2009 Bottle. Hottest day of the summer at 96 today, outside enjoying my Unibroue. Pours cloudy, dark yellow. Aroma of banana and wheat. First sip is highly carbonated- a bit too much actually. Getting past the carbonation is a round, mellow wheat flavor. Leaves some sweetness at the end. Nothing wrong with this one- solid, basic, but unremarkable compared to the other offerings from Unibroue. decimator (51), Ontario, Canada

Poured a hazy yellow colour with a big frothy head that disappears in a couple minutes. Aroma of wheat, yeast, bananas and a hint of spices. Tastes is malty, sweet, with some spiciness and some citrus. Lots of carbonation, creamy & sticky and sometimes it’s just a tad watery. Not too strong and not too heavy. It goes down easy. Overall it’s a pretty good Witbier. locust (10), Brampton, Ontario, Canada
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 7, 2009 What can I say -- I love this beer. The beer that got me into the Unibroue varities... Lots of spice right off the nose and tastes like excellently balanced fruit. Appearance is a beautiful frosty yellow, cloudy, in a good way... One of my favorites clearly
