Pours cloudy, dark yellow. Aroma of banana and wheat. First sip is highly carbonated- a bit too much actually. Getting past the carbonation is a round, mellow wheat flavor. Leaves some sweetness at the end. Nothing wrong with this one- solid, basic, but unremarkable compared to the other offerings from Unibroue. decimator (51), Ontario, Canada

Poured a hazy yellow colour with a big frothy head that disappears in a couple minutes. Aroma of wheat, yeast, bananas and a hint of spices. Tastes is malty, sweet, with some spiciness and some citrus. Lots of carbonation, creamy & sticky and sometimes it’s just a tad watery. Not too strong and not too heavy. It goes down easy. Overall it’s a pretty good Witbier. locust (10), Brampton, Ontario, Canada

Lots of spice right off the nose and tastes like excellently balanced fruit. Appearance is a beautiful frosty yellow, cloudy, in a good way... Pours a thick white head of good duration, over a yellow (SRM 8) clear body.....nose is pineapple, apple, bit of coriander, bit of bread and yeast, a little bit of funk....taste initially minimally sweet with bread and malt following, then pineapple and bit of coriander, allspice, clove, finishing dry....mouth feel is light, carbonation medium to high. A pleasant Witbier, a style that is a bit light to my palate, but this is a good representative. GardenGabe (129), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 27, 2009 Shared a 12oz with Jay. Poured a straw color with a slight haze. Loose white head. Smells of peach, pear, and lemon. Some spice as well. Initial sweetness gives way to a tannic bitterness. Feel is too watery too much like club soda.
