Commercial Description:
Chambly Noire is a smooth and creamy dark beer with a beige and persistent head. Its torrefaction aromas and slight bitterness enable it to perfectly accompany various fish dishes, strong cheeses and chocolate desserts.

Last Unibroue of the night. Looks nice, dak ale with a gorgeous creme coloured head. Thick head too. Aroma however is pretty dumbed down..just faint malts and some even fanter spice. Taste is not so bad actually goodish, strong malt and liquorice, aniseed follwed by a long smokey end very peppery. Mouthfeel is alright maybe a tad thin but acceptable. OK to drink actually the best of the 4 I had tonight. Im still very let down by Unibroue.

355ml bottle. Deep dark black in colour witha rich creamy latte coloured thick blanket of foam. Aromas of roasted chestnuts and burnt coffee with a hint of aniseed. Strong spiced fruit flavours come through with a long lasting and intense flavour. Another good beer from Unibroue.

Handsome, dark, foamy, and sweet -- although a little disappointing. I was expecting a bigger flavor from this "noire" Belgian style ale. Y’know... I gave it a "4" Palate rating, because I’m diggin’ the fizz from this 12 oz. bottle. I’m willing to try it again.

In bottle; typical Unibroue aroma of yeast (not a fan). Creamy dark beer and noticeable acidity. It was OK, but I was expecting much more from this beer. Not my favorite dark beer

Draft at The Haze. Opaque black color with a thick, solid off-white head. Creamy and mellowly carbonate, there is some underlying sweetness and Belgian yeastiness. Smooth and easy, Belgian Porter characteristics. Not my favorite Unibroue, but still quite sessionable and nice.

Midnight black pour from bottle. Typical Unibroue smell (what do they do to their beers that make almost all of them smell the same)?? Lightly smokey, toasted nutty taste. Smooth finish. Decent, not great, effort from an excellent brewery.

Dark brown-black, thin dark beige cover. Estery burnt caramel aroma, light cocoa, fruity. Taste is again clovey, fruity, spicy, apples, white wine, prunes, dried fruit.

Nice to see that Unibroue can do a good beer at a lower alcohol as well. This dark brown beer had a soft a refreshing palate. There was an aroma of slight sour apple , white grapes and some nice easy bitterness in the flavor department.
