Flavor is citrusy and sweet. Well done. Palate is creamy with prickly carbonation. Another good brew from Unibroue. jezmez68 (334), Chesterton, Indiana, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 15, 2008 Pours a brassy yellow. Nice scent of yeast. I would consider this a decent ale if it wasn’t for the 9% ABV asskicking this beer gives. Seems more diverse in its malts than the La Fin Du Monde. Definitely a decent ale. Nicely balanced. Thanks again, Unibroue. craftbeerdesign (755), Alpharetta, Georgia, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 9, 2008 Seemed like a fruity triple to me. Good if that’s your bag... it’s not mine so much, but it’s not bad. Lovely deep hazy golden pour with a generous and lasting foamy head. Honey and spice on the nose. Citrus and summer fruits on the palate. Hides the alcohol very well. As with Maudite, I found a similar creamy yeasty/fruity taste (more sour this time) that I don’t love. I can see why folks would like it, but I’m not a big fan. BeerGestapo (740), Windsor, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 1, 2008 Bottle: Poured a hazy gold color with a feint semi white head that fizzled away to nothing. Slow falling sediment can be seen throughout. Citrus scent to it. Flavor is nothing original. Really just average. FlssmrBrewAlum (1160), Lisle, Illinois, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 28, 2008 12 oz. bottle from Unibroue sampler pack from John’s Grocery (Iowa City, IA). Poured a dark hazy wheaty color with a very prominent white bubbly head. The brew continues to bubble and appears highly carbonated. A pleasant aroma that is a bit sweet, with spices and some tell tale belgian style yeast hints. Pleasant on the nose and the eyes. Initial taste is sweet and spicy, yet not over powering. Some citrusy sweet parts and a nice crisp feel. Finishes tart / bitter, but enjoyable for the most part. A nice beer. Will drink again.
