From a bottle. Pours a hazy golden golden color. Fruity in the aroma. Hints of citrus and sweet fruits. Taste is slight sweetness and a breadyness aswell as some spice. Medium bodied and very enjoyable.

Definitely a quality brew here. Unibroue markets this as a Triple Hefe, which is what it’s most similar to. I reserve the Belgian Strong label for beers with a bit more to them. For what it is, this beer is excellent. Very full for what I expected and smooth to boot.

341 mL bottle. Hazy peach with a small but lasting white head. Sweet citrus (mandarin orange) and spice in the aroma, along with the Unibroue yeast. The flavour is sweet as well, although the sweetness is tempered by the heavy carbonation. Again you’ll find the sweet citrus, along with some wheat, spice (coriander) and alcohol. Kinda like an Imperial Wit. Not as good as some of their others, but there’s nothing wrong with it.

12 oz bottle purchased at John’s Grocery In Iowa City. Poured a hazy yellow-gold color. Head was thick, rocky, and white with good retention and lacing. Fruity aroma of distinct pineapple, some citrus, and a whiff of banana. Effervescent and slightly sweet on the tongue. Lots of fruits and spices in the flavor including mandarin orange, clove, subdued pineapple, alcohol, and white pepper. There was also some yeasty bread dough. Great beer.

341ml bottle. Semi clear amber gold with a medium white head. Warm aroma of wheat and yeast with light fruits and some alcohol. Flavours are sweet malts with notes of fruit and spice. Finishes sweet but not cloying, and begging for another sip.

12 oz. bottle poured into tumbler- poured dangerously murky yellow golden, big white head quickly bubbled away, moderate carbonation. Aroma of yeast with various ripe fruit esters; orange, green apples, and apricots to name a few. Hits the mouth with a medium body, fruit is more pronoucned than in the aroma, , finish is wet and leaves you begging for more, alcohol is extremely well hidden. I have to admit this maybe a beer I have to beat someone down just to get!

Pours a cloudy bright orange with a flimsy white head that soon disapates. That sounds unattractive but isn’t. Just interesting. Smells of malt and apricot with some banana and spice. Flavor of dried fruit with a slight hop balance and even a little pepper. Sticky, oily, tar like finsh that leaves a bitter orange hard candy flavor. I like.

From a 750 ml C&C bottle, this poured a cloudy orange with a good sized head that was gone quickly and left light lacing. Nose is very fruity. Seems like citrus, apple, and apricots. Mouthfeel is slick and flavor is sweet, with alcohol showing. Overall the flavors are powerful, maybe almost too much so that it seems a little more like fermented fruit punch than ale. After the first few ounces it got more difficult to drink. Not bad, but not as good as some of the other Unibroue offerings.
