Pours a gold (slightly orange) with a good white head. Aroma of citrus, floral, banana, and spice. Flavors of fruit, banana, belgian yeast, spice, and a bit of citrus. Quite enjoyable, a nice golden strong ale, which is expected from unibroue.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with a good head. The taste is a smooth citrus that finishes with a nice alcohol warmth. A really nice drink.

Hazy, light yellowish-golden color. Large, spongy white head quickly settles to a swirly, thin film with a frothy edge. Minimal sudsy lacing slowly creeps its way back to the body. The aroma is very Saison-like. There’s a sweet farmhouse style yeast background, with floral scents, citrus, coriander, and cream all making their presence felt. The flavor is quite sweet, again showing yeast, flowers, coriander, and other spices. The finish shows contrasting peppery and citrus chiffon characteristics. Medium body that is a bit too sweet and sticky for my liking. Decent brew that is borderline Saison-Tripel.

750ml corked bottle from Bevmo. Cork launched with enough force to dent my 14 foot high ceiling. Pours a hazy cloudy gold color with a huge head that receded to 1/4 inch and held. Aroma is moderate in strength and loaded with spice. Flavor is all Belgian; complex with a cloves, allspice, coriander, citrus, thyme and hazelnuts. Mouthfeel is full and satisfying with lively prickly carbonation. Hops are well integrated. Finish is long and sticky-sweet. Overall an excellent beer.

Rated while drinking: Pours a clear apple juice color with a big foamy head that completely disappears! Lots of bubbles too. Smells of fruits and faint flowers. A bit of yeast background too. Very perfumy, but good. Flavor is much stronger than the aroma leads on. Lots of fruity esters with a cider-like aftertaste. Rich and complex! Nicely carbonated, slick on the tongue and mouth, with a tad bit of dryness and alcohol burn at the end. Definitely a sipper, but very refined. Trademark Unibroue does it again. A very excelled beer that anyone can appreciate.

Pours a beautiful orange yellow with a nice fizzy head. Aroma has tons of citrus and flowers. Flavor is more of the same, very orange-y. A really great refreshing beer. I’ll drink this any day.

12 oz bottle from Unibroue 8 bottle sampler. Pour is hazy yellow orange with a decent white head. Aroma of spicy sweetness - nutty and yeasty. Taste is a touch sour initially, then the tart earthy sweetness takes over. Finish is yeasty with some heat. Really nice full body.

Top of the bottle reads 2005. From notes on 12/6. Pours a hazy straw/amber with a white head. Nose is like a bright lemon. Has the potential to be overbearing, but does not (my definition of a bright lemon). Flavor is strong and light at the same time. Pungent sweetness combined with a heavy yeast flavor. Overall it is very smooth and even, yet powerful. Feel is slightly thin with a good carbonation on it. Extremely drinkable. Perhaps a bit on the sweet side, and too much so for some. But still. Extremely well crafted.
