The aroma has notes of fruit, sweetness and a hint of yeast. The flavour is initially very sweet, but I gradually get used to it. It has notes of light fruit, but in a heavy way, I find peach, banana, some coriander and citrus, mostly in the finish. The alcohol isn’t present and It’s a nice beer. oakbluff (301), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 1, 2007 Apple juice on the noste- appearance is of apple juice color. Carbonation is more subdued than other Unibroue offerings like La Fin du Monde. Taste- apple, spicy with the classic unibroue yeast flavour. A solid offering from Unibroue, just not quite up there with there flag ships like La Fin Du Monde. SuzyGreenberg (1408), Seattle, Washington, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 24, 2007 Pours a fuzzy looking light brown with a smallish white head. Aroma a good bit cidery, and a bit malty. Flavor is an explosion of apples, pears, yeast, pepper and a tad of alcohol. Aftertaste quite like cider. Does Unibroue do nothing but Belgians? | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 22, 2007 Pours a light golden color with a small tight white bubbly head. There wasn’t any lacing on the sides of the trappist glass. The scents were of apples, pears and malt. The taste was very flat and thin, with a slight stale cider feel. There was a sweet, cloying after bite. I didn’t care for this beer too much. badlizard (2380), Berkeley, California, USA

The flavor is sweet and yeasty with a prominent spicy flavor I have yet to identify. Classicly Belgian. Hides the alcohol well. yesyouam (602), Fairport, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 17, 2007 Don de Dieu is a crystal clear coppery gold ale that is very sparkling. Its white head diminishes quickly and becomes turbulent. The aroma is light and of peach, white wine, black pepper, and something herbal. It is light-to-medium bodied and very dry. The carbonation is soft and fizzy. The flavor is suprisingly stronger than the light aroma. It is acidic, starts a little bitter and ens a little acetic. It has a lot of Pinot Blanc qualities. Not incredibly exciting, but a good sipper.
