Nice thick white head, good retention and excellent sticky lacing. Lots of aroma! Spice, yeast, weak caramel(?) and sweet apple. Got what I called a sour-fake grape-wood too, what ever that is. Soft tasting, a wack of yeast and the apple/wood thing. I noticed the taste the alcohol - a wineish quality to it, which was acceptable. Mouthfeel was quite dry on the top of the tongue, had nice carbs, a nice swish and on some sips finished sour. Medium bodied. Good stuff. jameswolfe (142), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA

It was good right out of the fridge when it was nice and cold, as it warmed it’s flavor started to lack. When it was completely warm, however, it was delicious. I drank it slow because I didn’t think it was that awesome. It has a lemony zest. I almost felt like I should have been drinking on the beach in Mexico. Very interesting beer. beerledgend (919), Meadowbank Auckland, New Zealand

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 18, 2009 Golden without much sediment, foamy head but not much lacing. Aroma is estery, some fruit and a bit of spicy hops. Flavor is sweet, fruity, spicy with some warm alcohol. Finely effervescent. Slight bitter hops on aftertaste. KyotoLefty (1424), Kyoto, Japan
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 16, 2009 Very golden orange with a very tall head. Very yeasty aroma with strong golden malt, wheat, orange, grapefruits, honey. Very fruity, with lots of citrus, rather sweet indeed, with honey; strong. Strong Belgian yeast character. Good balanced dryness, too, though, from hops and more so yeast and sour touch. Brilliant, sparking, very well balanced. To name a fault, it is a little too sweet and honey-like, maybe.
