750. Thanks, Luiss, even though I can get this here! Pours a clear, medium copper with a thick, sudsy platinum blonde head. Big, interesting nose: butter cream, dust, green apples. More of the same on the palate. Fairly subdued attack; medium body and not much carb, though there’s a hint of fizz there. Nice roasty, slightly spicy finish. Simple and interesting and different--not overborne with dozens of flavors. Tasty. Feels substantial even without the overwhelming complexity common to so many BSAs, especially anniversary editions. Wonderfully understated.

C&C 750. Found this very dusty gem in the corner of the beer cooler at Grand Spirit Shop II in Groton, CT. Dec. ’06. Hazy golden amber with a big white head that disappears quickly. Lightly sweet yeasty nose, spicy herbal notes, ginger, light cinnamon. Spicy flavor, cinnamon, ginger, coriander, light honey notes with a yeasty theme throughout. Lively mouthfeel. Excellent.

Pours a murky red-orange color with little head. Aroma of apple, caramel, oranges, raisins, clove, cinnamon. Moderate fizzy carbonation. The longer it sits here the sweeter it gets. Clove and cardamon become really conspicuous in the flavor. Well rounded with a nice dry finish on the back of the tongue.

Drank in a tulip. Bottled 10-10-03 therefore over 3 years old and aged in perfect conditions. Cloudy dark amber poor with a fine off-white head. Aromas of cranberries, allspice, ginger, oranges, caramel, bananas, plums.... very fruity... the list goes on and on. To the palate, good carbonation, light, you can feel the alcohol, very balanced and complexe. Had this with 47% cocoa dark chocolate... ALCOHOL! Flavors just get that much enhanced. A lite port aftertaste most likely due to the aging process. This beer was made with very distinct unibroue yeast and hops... Incredible how these anniversary beers are so complexe. This is far from the best.... but MAN... is it ever amazing.

750ml Bottle from Ledgers in Berkley, CA; Cork came out nicely, no foaming!Nose of spice, caramel, and a light menthol hint like a cough drop (ginger, maybe); lightly hazed amber with a small off-white head; flavor is spicy, caramelly, with a bunch of fruitiness, and a bit of menthol. Different from most Belgian strong Ales!

750ml bottle: The cork pulls out of the dusty bottle with a loud "pop". This one pours a hazy, darker golden color. There was a fairly decent head on it, but it doesn’t last long. The aroma is somewhat subdued, which is a bit suprising. Still, there is quite a bit going on in there. Notes of yeastiness, spiciness, some fruits and corriander. Some caramel sweetness on the tongue, with some of the aforementioned fruitiness. Slight hint of alcohol. A very silky mouthfeel. Very nice!

Columbus 2.0 brought by nolankowal. Aroma of apple, lemon, and coriander. Flavor was a little spicy and a little alcoholic. Not to bad but it had a little burn on the back of the tongue.
