Columbus 2.0 brought by nolankowal. Aroma of apple, lemon, and coriander. Flavor was a little spicy and a little alcoholic. Not to bad but it had a little burn on the back of the tongue.

excellent aroma of spice, ginger? camomile? the extreme spice aroma does not follow through into the taste. very smooth taste, no one spice overpowering. crisp bubbly mouthfeel. acidic finish.

Herbal and spice nose with faint malt upfront. Notes of anise, black pepper, pomegranite and leather on the palate with indistinct ripe fruit and spice. Mildy astringent finish.

Pours a hazy gold with an off white head. The aroma of yeast with some orange zest and corriander. The flavor held a good bit of yeast with some citrus and some pepper. High carbonation with a medium body.

Faint aroma that is dominated by some kind of herb - perhaps juniper or ginger. Appears a hazy golden amber with a big off-white head that mostly dissipates. Flavor of pepper and coriander and phenols mostly dominate, though there is a dusty yeast character, and a resurgent herbal flavor - almost certainly ginger - at the finish. Palate is medium-thick but quite effervescent. Overall, a well-crafted brew, but I think that Unibroue’s yeast is too phenolic for my personal tastes.

750ml corked bottle. Hazy, golden bronze hue. Faimt ring of white head. Musty, root beer ginger, clove, citrus aroma. Tart and sour palate. Sweet and layered but with a sticky body. Turning and aging, but I don’t know if it’s for the better. Cherry cola notes. Sweet and sour, tart sweet. Nice burn and still doing good!

Bottle: Columbus tasting shared by nolankowal. Copper colored pour with an off white head. Aroma of raisins, corriander. Flavor, grapes, some alcohol, spice, yeast. A little to carbonated, but overall not bad. Got this as a 21st birthday present, and hadnt had it since then.
