| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 29, 2006 Faint aroma that is dominated by some kind of herb - perhaps juniper or ginger. Appears a hazy golden amber with a big off-white head that mostly dissipates. Flavor of pepper and coriander and phenols mostly dominate, though there is a dusty yeast character, and a resurgent herbal flavor - almost certainly ginger - at the finish. Palate is medium-thick but quite effervescent. Overall, a well-crafted brew, but I think that Unibroue’s yeast is too phenolic for my personal tastes. sneagrams3 (1762), St. Louis, Missouri, USA

Sweet and sour, tart sweet. Nice burn and still doing good! sliffy (2012), Columbus, Ohio, USA
