This beer had a very different aroma. It was spicy and sweet at the same time. I detected cardamom and clove in this complex aroma. The body was quite full with average carbonation and a creamy texture. The flavor started off quite sweet with huge maltiness and spice in the background. As it matured, the spices battle to the foreground, leaving the malt sweetness behind. The finish is long, smooth and warming with a sweet edge to it. Papsoe (15103), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Slightly herbal aroma. Sweetish and malty with spicy, almost herbal notes - ginger? Very subdued bitterness. 021005 Ungstrup (15376), Frederiksberg, Denmark

The aroma is sweet spicy, with ginger standing out. The flavor is sweet with very powerful notes of ginger, but also with notes of yeast and alcohol. Dixen (1465), Flagstaff, Arizona, USA

Sweet and frruity in the flavour as well. Flavour as well is very gingery. Quite funny, but IMO a bit too much. Ands on a dry and spiced note. A bit too onedimensional IMO. Thanks Sammy for trading. Pours cloudy amber with small head which dissipates rather quickly. Very complex and rich. First sense is sweet and malty fuit, lees, follwed by a slight warming sense, finishes good.
