Whoa! Massive alcohol punch in the face, as you’d expect from 10.4% abv. Not as sweet as I had hoped. Typical quality and flavor you’d expect from Unibroue. I have no complaints. Plenty of cloves and spices, and big fluffy head. Rerate: The spice/clove thing is as assertive as ever. Holy cow. Interesting flavor combo!

Amber hazy hue. Pours with a generous white creamy head, yeasty dough, camambert cheese and fruity aromas, follow through on a medium-bodied palate, with yeasty, alcool warmth, malty flavors, and a hint of brandy liquor, in a well malted alcoolic finish.

pours a golden copper color with thick fluffy head that dissipates quickly and leaves no lacing. taste is apricot, spice and clove. has a smooth mouth feel with a subtle sweetness. leaves a slight warming towards the end. i really enjoyed this and will definatly buy again.

Tasted in Toronto. Obtained from Plumpjacks (Noe) San Francisco. Tasted in tulip glass. Appearance is deep golden, almost copper, about one to two shades lighter than Maudite. Initially big white head, but after letting settle in the glass it subsides. Aroma is of slightly sweet, apricots, candy floss and bubble gum, but not offensive - subtle. Hint of orange and clovy like spice. Flavour is very well balanced. Has hints of apricot, with a bread like yeasty mouthfeel. Multi-dimensional and satisfying.

Bottle (HWC): Golden amber color with a big fluffy off white head. Aroma is spicy and sweet with some fruity notes. Flavor starts spicy with cinnimon and a touch of clove turning honey sweet with a hint of lemon. The finish is long and dry with a light tangy bitterness. Smooth palate and the 10.5% ABV is quite well hidden.

Copper pour. Big, bubbly white head. Can smell it with my nose a foot away from the glass. Malt and yeast, earth and dried fruit, very subtle alcohol. Flavor to match with some tingly carbonation and a bitter finish. Goes down very easy for what it is. 750 ml will not last long. Full/medium body. Complex, excellent. Buy some to lay down if you can.

100th beer!!!!!! Had this actually a few weekends ago but waited untill it’s affects wore off to rate it;) Man this stuff was awsome but a bit strong on the alchohol level. but who cares! after 750ml of this stuff I was singing national anthems I never knew. Im glad I bought a few of these 6 months ago. Maybe I’ll be able to sell them in 10 years on Ebay along with my ex g/fs breast implants or something. On a sad note: 1 Duvel glass lost it’s life in the duration of this beer.
