Very sweet and fruity smell. Taste on tongue is very light and balanced. Leaves a great finishing taste in mouth. Finishing the bottle won’t be a problem

Sweet smell of graham crackers, honey, grain, yeast and a subtle fruitiness. Pours a nice honey amber with a quickly diminishing head and light carbonation. Love the color, but the lack of any substantial head seems somehow ... off. Flavor is a bouquet of yeast, grains and cereal with a light touch of fruit - perhaps peaches? Lightly fizzy palate with a thin watery body. Slightly oily. Surprisingly light and easy to swallow, given the high alcohol content. Overall, this is unique and very good. Would definitely buy again.

Pours hazy amber with small dissipating head. Relatively light carbonation. Nose is sweet, hay, and yeast. Flavor is very yeasty. No carbonation in the glass but as soon as this drink hits your tongue it fizzes up. I’ve never seen a beer with this much carbonation and no head. Carbonation bites the tongue and there is so much of it in the mouth it makes the beer hard to drink. Hard to swallow the intense carbonation. Foamy, tongue bite, and too much burping detract from this beer. Thin body. Not bad if it weren’t for the ridiculous carbonation. The carbonation is just too distracting and I can’t really judge the beer. Loses points for that.

Pours with a two-finger cream head that fades slowly leaving a good lace. Cloudy amber color. Medium bodied and good carbonation. Nose is a sweet spice. Starts sweet and as a BA reviewer suggested like brandied peaches, finish is smooth and mellow - no aftertaste, the high ABV is not noticeable. $7.49 for a 750ml bottle from Northend Superette Manchester, NH. Brewed 5/5/2004.

Aroma of a sweet tripel with fruit, yeast, wheat, and malt. Orange with a large and long lasting white head. Flavor is simple with sweet malt. I got a headache from the high alcohol content. Lacks complexity in the flavor that was present in the aroma. Rather Duvel-like.

Pours a cloudy golden with tons of CO2 and a bubble bath head. Aromas are ginger, orange and sweet candy. Very soapy mouthfeel, light but sweet and way too carbonated. Flavors of oranges and ginger, maybe some grains of paradise. Some really wierd proportions in the grain. Somewhere in Mosher’s new book he said that grains were a wonderful addition to just about any belgian ale, but if you can pick them out you’ve used to much. I agree 100%.
