Light golden brown with a huge frothy tan head that mostly dissipates quickly; some fair lacing. Yeasty aroma with caramel malt nose and a hint of wheat. Sweet malt flavor with honey notes and licorice on the end. Bold warming palate.

Bottle. Poured a large off-white fizzy head, good lacing, fast rising carbonation, cloudy, and a darkish orange hue. Aroma consisted of malt, spices, and alcohol. Wonderful aroma IMO. Flavor was malty, spicy, vinuous-in other words, delicious. More please? Vinuous, warming sensation of a mouthfeel. Yum. More please? One of my favorite beer styles and it definitely did not disappoint me. If you find it, try it! Enjoy!

Well, here’s another concurrence with Pigfoot on the "spicey, peachy, zingy." Perhaps the most distinct of the Unibroue beers I’ve had (I’ve been disappointed in the past by how so many of their beers are so similar), this almost has an oregano aroma to it. The body is copper and cloudy long before you get to the layer of the yeast at the bottom. The head is an excellent and thick layer of eggshell foam that takes forever to fade. The aroma has an excellent spiciness to it (cinnamon, oregano, ginger, a hint of vanilla). The malt in the body is lightly sweet caramel, and the peachy fruit flavors meld nicely into the spicy, slightly malty blend. This may be the best Unibroue has put out in my opinion.

What can I say more? Pigfoot hit it on the head. Spicey ginger, peachy, zingy. Nice brew. I’d like to see how this one ages. Tho not a stellar, absolutely a memorable brew. Update-Loved this so much I bought several more bottles. This stuff ages terribly. It became one dimensional and smelled/tasted like those crappy cookies from Denmark that come in a blue tin that old ladies eat. I suffered thru half the bottle before I dumped it. It did not have a bad cork but it still plain sucked so I am re rating based on the 5 bottles I have had.

A hazed pale orange, with furious carbonation jetting up and around from above, covered with a cap of angelic, delicate foam, a soft, lovely cushion... oooo, loveliness in the nose, sharp, yet sweet, pungent, spicy, like a peach spiked with ginger, and dusted with clove and corinader...I like it a lot, and forswear the drinking of it, to further enjoy this aroma...but let’s take the plunge... Lush, wonderful, rich presence on the palate, big flavor, spills itself all over the mouth, spreading this spicy/fruity feeling all up and down ...this is a tasty ale, although one begs for more...not that anything lacks, but you just want more...it’s just how you are, isn’t it? But there’s no fault to be found...it’s zesty, spicy, tast-alicious...a richer witbier...a zippier pale ale...dang, but Unibroue does what they does, and you gotta love it! As for me, I may have to grab the rest of these bottles before they go away...this is too good to let disappear! I don’t care about all y’all, but I’m lovin’ this, and it suits me just fine...gooo-ooodNISS! Mmmm-mmm-mmm!!

Apple pie, blackberry pie but not sweet, cinnoman. Wow on the aroma. Apple pie up front then tart and meady. Ginger? Real clean. Warming alcohol is so nice. Wow.

Dark Brown Coloring. Big Head. Nice Spicey Aroma... The Aroma was a Lovely Mix of Spices...and Made the Flavor a Disappointment...Some Bread Dough, Yeast, Additional Spice Flavor...Very Enjoyable But Wasn’t the Bangorang that I Was Expecting....

750ml Corked 4-2 Cloudy golden orange with a head that selttles down to a thin Belgian looking film. Real spicy aroma with a good breadlike yeastiness. Alcohol is present in aroma. Also some fruit in aroma, cherries, dates etc. Body is full and round. Sharp carbonation. Smooth. Overall a nice ale. Somewhere between a Tripel and a Quad.
