Dark Brown Coloring. Big Head. Nice Spicey Aroma... The Aroma was a Lovely Mix of Spices...and Made the Flavor a Disappointment...Some Bread Dough, Yeast, Additional Spice Flavor...Very Enjoyable But Wasn’t the Bangorang that I Was Expecting....

750ml Corked 4-2 Cloudy golden orange with a head that selttles down to a thin Belgian looking film. Real spicy aroma with a good breadlike yeastiness. Alcohol is present in aroma. Also some fruit in aroma, cherries, dates etc. Body is full and round. Sharp carbonation. Smooth. Overall a nice ale. Somewhere between a Tripel and a Quad.

Hazy amber color with strong alcohol smell. Medium head. Sweet malty sugar flavor with a nice spicy taste. Warms on the way down and finshes slightly bitter.

Bottle: Pours a foggy caramel colour with minimal head. Strong alcohol aroma with scents of sweet brown sugar and malt. Strong alcohol flavor along with molases. Initially sweet, but bitter and strong alcohol aftertaste.

This was an decent beer but I don’t think I’m too big on the style of beer. This actually tasted very earthy and I did not like the aftertaste. However, don’t let me review deter you from trying it as others seem to have enjoyed it more than me.

Very interesting aroma. Raisny notes with a hint of apple and menthol. Fruity and dry with pepper notes, this brew poured a deep reddish brown with a frothy, lasting tan head. Something minty, or spicy not normally found in a belgian was present. One ratebeerian suggested sage. I am inclined to agree it was along those lines, but not sage exactly. The high alchohol content is nicely masked, though it is warming on the way down. A complex interesting beer, this beer also has an active carbonation with snap crackle and pop on the pour.

What gets me is the aroma. Very spicy with apples and (I swear) mint. It poured a hazy amber color with a fizzy white had that merely coated the brew in short order. Very carbonated. The flavor is complex, apples and cherries, clove, peppery, bready, and nicely hopped. The high ABV is well hidden. A very dry finish. A tasty, warming drink.

Tangerine. Dull, muddled aroma of aged hop pellets, ginger, peach, medicines, mint, phenols and light fruits. Notes of cinnamon, ginger, clove, light fruits (mainly pineapple), cherries and medicines. All this somehow developed into something cohesive but I stll found the alcohol in this a little too much to bear.
