Bottle. Pale orange colour. Sweet aroma of ginger and fruits. Soft mild ginger spiced sweeet flavour. Too sweet and rather too much ginger in this brew.

Bottle @ thewolf tasting.
[thank you, Boutip]
Hazy pale yellow, very small head. Stays as a little film. Aroma is nicely sweet spiced. Cardemum, ginger is most proficient. Wonderful mouthfeel, rather low carbonation. Flavour is spicy, has oranges, moldiness. Perhaps a bit too sweet overall.

Aroma is spicy, yeast, lemon, some other light fruit notes and some alcohol. Very pleasant. Similar flavor, though I would have like it to be a little more intense. Very enjoyable, though.

Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is delicious with spices, slight candied sugar, lemon, and a little bit of alcohol. Flavor is citrus, lemon, candied sugar, spices, and a finish of some alcohol warming. I’m glad I found a bottle of this in a random liquor store in the middle of nowhere.

Poured into a tulip, this beer pours a light golden color with a creamy looking, slightly beige head. The nose is fantastic! Lime, along with layers upon layers of spices that I cannot name. There is also a candy smell. The taste is no letdown. Spiced fruits, namely lime and banana, are the prevailing flavors here. The hops are herbal and serve to clean the sweetness of this beer from the palate. The mouthfeel is quite carbonated, which adds to the spiced quality of this beer. Yet it manages to be slightly creamy at the same time. Drinkability is high, as I will finish the bottle with no problems. This beer has improved noticeably since I first tried it about three months ago. I will continue to age my other sample, as well as seek out about six or seven more. Bottle. Aroma of lots of spices, lots of fruits, mostly lighter fruits such as apple but getting into the cherry region as well. Flavor also came with a certain sweetness that’s strong but not overly sugary or artificial. I’m not sure if it’s the spices or the age that sort of change the sweetness from more typical Unibroue to this...different sweetness that I am failing to describe, but it was nice.

BOTTLE: poured medium-dark golden with whitish-beige head. Sweet aroma with a slight hint of the powerful alcohol hiding in this ale. Taste is very sweet, hints of orange and lots of sugar permeates the mouth with medium-light body and a medium-length aftertaste. Very easy to drink and looking forward to the next one!

Bottle, via trade a long time ago, then I found more in Texas so I thought I should open this one. Shared with Cyn during her birthday party, happy birthday Cyn. KAME originally turned me on to this he said this was pretty damn nice, so I thought I’d try it. Bubbly orange with a thin tan head. Beautifal Apple Juice, and sweet and fruity nose. Taste is really mild and sweet, and apple really comes through nicely. This is a damn tasty mellow Belgian Strong Ale. Damn smooth and super well hidden alc.
