Feb 17, 2006 Ruddy mahogany to cola in color w/ an off-white to tan head. Head builds, though not as frothy as you anticipate. Initial scent of light alcohol on the nose, a trace of sweetness and soft yeast strains. A bit sour and then just a touch bitter at the back of the tongue which lingers. Subtle, smooth and drinkable. Good yet not booyah good! Age will do this well.

Feb 11, 2006 Spiced fruits and bread in the immediate aroma. Dark brown with a quickly receding tan head. Flavor is malty with lots of low spice bread pudding notes, raisins and malt. It’s fairly straight forward and uncomplex, but quite tasty and it leaves a lingering bready aftertase.
