Muddy brown with a small creamy head. Lots of spices in aroma. Creamy smooth body. Sweet fruity malty flavor and spicy, orange, nutmeg holiday like spices. Yeast was subdued for Unibroue but overall pretty good stuff.

Pours pitch black with an awesome, thick head. Strong fruity, malty aroma, with plums, peaches, chocolate and mocha, malts and cinnamon. Head was a little specled with spices, which showed up in the spicy taste, along with really rich malts and fruit. A very rich, full, creamy, delicious beer.

The bottle appeared on my desk tonight as I played the wonderful (though old) game of CounterStrike. A hand came out from the void to place the bottle of this fine ale where I sat. A wondrous suprise to say the least. This is still a very young brew (broue?). I must have another bottle or two to lay down for 6-12 months. Slight alcohol bite, like if you play with your Jack Russell Terrier and he gets too excited and absolutely must put a tooth mark in your hand, without breaking the skin. Burnt molasses dark with an everlasting off-white head. Aroma of fruit and love. Still very young and brash but I can taste the potential. Unibroue, like a Unibrow (sometimes mistaken as its pronounciation), keeps it all together.

A strong sipper. Warming and hints of various fruits. Tasted similar to some barleywines actually. A fine drink, but needs to be savored, sipped, and shared.

pours a dark brown w/ hints of reds w/ a full thick tall fluffy head that laces well. Aroma is hints of raisens rum brown sugar and some dark frutis like figs and plums. Full creamy palate. Flavor hides the alchol well but it is felt in the swallow there is some nice spices in it clove and maybe some cinamon as well as some light nutty flavors and lots of dark fruits plums, figs, touches of raisen. Dang good stuff.

Pours a dark opaque orange-brown with some amount of head. Aroma is butter rum raisin...very inviting. Great flavors in this brew with clove, fig, raisin on a buttery malt base with some spicy in the finish. Very smooth brew going down with the 10% ABV fairly well blended. I should save a bottle of this for a year a two to see how well it may age.

Another good offering from Unibroue. Opaque brown, with an off white, medium sized head. Aromas consist of prunes, and are fairly yeasty. Roasty aromas and spices fill the nose as well. Spicy sweet roasty flavours, with lots of warming qualities. Full bodied, and very good.
