The aroma is very nice; smells like ripe sweet apple. I was let down with the flavor and palate. Just too light for me. My wife really enjoyed it and was happy it was not nearly as powerful as a few others I like to buy (La Fin, Maudite, etc). VitaminR (442), Colorado, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jun 22, 2009 Toast soaked in green apple honey nose. Pale cloudy gold with hints of brown, huge frothy head. Applesauce/clovey sweetness, some tart bitterness for balance. Massive carbonation, fruit pectin like medium body, finish is a little flat with some apple notes peaking through. Better than average fruit beer, just seems it sits on the fence with the direction. Might be better if it went with either a subtle apple flavor and more malt complexity, or an over the top sour apple ale. ditmier (1110), Boise, Idaho, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 20, 2009 (12 oz bottle) cloudy gold like cloudy apple juice. Sharp aroma of apple. Flavor is bready, fruity. Not overly sweet. curly (653), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 16, 2009 Cloudy orange pour with a frothy white head that sustains itself. Apple bread aroma and other spices. Taste is not overly sweet and fruity which is nice. It’s a very nice balance between the breadiness and apple. This is the first apple fruit beer I’ve had also and I think it’s better that most strawberry, apricot or blueberry beers. Not sticky or cloying surprisingly. Butters (1651), Virginia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 16, 2009 Bottle split with curly. Pours a semi-hazy golden amber with quickly disappearing head. Nose of an apple poptart. Flavor is bready, like a crumpet, and green apple. Very interesting brew, and worth trying again as a change up in a tasting.
