I was impressed by how easy to drink this beer was. It had a very refreshing dryness that sticks out in my mind. The apple flavor was not too overpowering. I didn’t notice much by way of hops, there might very well not have been any... It was sort of like a malty cider. BritAlesRule (84), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 2, 2009 Cloudy gold appearance. Nose is sour apple pie a’ la mode, tart and creamy. Medium mouthfeel with bits of sour apple and citrus hitting the tongue. No bret or funk detected, just a very pleasing beer. I like! fluffy (229), Florida, USA

Light and flavorful. This is a good Summer beer and refreshing for a late afternoon. Swalden28 (1515), McKinney, Texas, USA

Flavor is lighter then I expected, some apple with faint funk, crisp. Mouthfeel is very lively here, light body with very high fizzy carbonation. Overall I believe this would make a great beer for the summer weather.... BillyMidnight (41), Alberta, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 19, 2009 A damn fine fruit beer if you’re into this sort of thing. I’m not, but I could be. This appley brew demanded to be paired with cheese, but I had no cheese. Worse still, I don’t know enough about cheese to know what kind of cheese would go best with it anyway. Damn, I need some cheese. JaBier (1261), Capital City, Ohio, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 19, 2009 Sample at the Unibroue tasting at Blacklick Wine and Spirits on 4.10.09. Cloudy yellow color with a huge white head. Apple aroma with a bit of funk, herbs and yeast. Tart apple flavor with a slight hint of mint and bubble gum in the background. Finishes a tad thin. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 12, 2009 Bottle. Pours hazy yellow. Green apple and malt sweet in the nose. Wheaty with a hint of apple, the coriander slips in but just barely. Finishes with a tart apple bitterness that was a little off putting at first. It almost seems like the apple juice and the beer were 2 separate tastes. Interesting
