Mar 1, 2009 Admittance--this is NOT my thing. I loved Apple Jacks as a kid, and that was that, with not an apple to speak of since... still, pours a ncie, golden body with a thin yet consistent white head, with effervescence showing this to be a lively brew... intensely tart darts of apple, windblown with a fresh cut of wheat... easy drinking, clean body, light to medium and slightly bubbly on the tongue--swift start to finish.... apple tart is unmistakeable... secondary flavors built off that clean, crisp, unfiltered effervescence.... as a filler in the case, not bad... I must reiterate, I mean no disrespect to the brewer, and have found more than a few silly beers that shipped faux fruit along with its malt and hops, but this is tastefully done...

Feb 27, 2009 FRom 330ml bpttle. Looks good, cloudy golden yellow colour with a thick head. Aroma of apples and spice. Very very complex nose. Very smooth and crisp. A bit yeasty, the flavor is sweet and reminds me of candy apples. It is very interesting. Not bad.

Feb 22, 2009 Murky gold pour, slight dissipating head. apple sweetness in the nose. Fresh, effervescent mouthfeel, yeasty applesauce taste with a green apple skins finish. Pretty good.

Feb 21, 2009 Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with a one finger white head. The nose is apple bubblegum. The taste is wheat, yeast, coriander and apple juice. Medium prickly body. Not as sweet as I anticipated from the aroma. Comes off like an apple hefeweizen. Not bad.

Feb 18, 2009 (bottle) A yellow beer with lively carbonation but almost no head. Aroma is strong with sweet apple, with an underlying earthy, yeast notes. From the aroma I would have thought it to have a stronger apple flavor, but not so. Some apple up front, but it’s nearly lost in the carbonation. Some apple remains throughout, but it gives way to more yeasty flavor. Medium bodied.

Feb 17, 2009 2004-05-19 750ml Bottle shared with Grand Genie. Hazy light golden appearance with minimal head. Aroma: apples, cinnimon and pear. Flavor: green apples, alcohol and apple sauce. Palate: light body, lively carbonation with a chalky finish.

Feb 14, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours a clearish amber color with a thin champaingne head. Smells of green apple and some banana. Tastes of red apple skins and banana. Airy and ligh, Fragrant and floral. Sour, with some very weird smoked meat smells. Smoked ham and pork meats dominate the smoked meat flavor of the complex brew.
