Strictly speaking, as a hard cider beverage, it isn’t bad, but if one is expecting a good solid beer - they’d be in for a disappointment. Aroma is sweet as is the flavor. Flavor of natural apple, but that’s about it. Guinness4Duff (507), Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA

| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Feb 2, 2008 Bottle. Pours very hazy, but clears to look like champagne. Aroma of apples way too strong. Finish is way too dry. Had the unfortunate situation of imbibing after heavier beers. All I could think of was flavored Andre. Not good. Will try again in the future. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 1, 2008 12 oz. bottle from the Unibroue variety pack from John’s Grocery (Iowa City, IA). Pours a hazy straw with a vibrant large white head that begins to dissipate immediately. Champagnesque? I can smell the apple must from a few feet away, it is pleasant (And worth the 9) but I worry about the green Jolly Rancher taste. Smells of green apple and a tiny bit of spiciness. Initial taste is far from what I expected. A pleasant light bodied tame yet fizzy Belgian Wit-esque beer with a touch of coriander that has a gentle apple taste (Differing much from the strong smell) and a subdued although pleasant sweetness. Finishes smooth and without much screaming (Which is good). A surprisingly summer beer that I enjoyed, much to my surprise. I think my girlfriend would even like this. The "Common Ground" beer. Will most likely drink again, although the "Green Apple" burps aren’t too pleasant. jeg (115), Austin, Texas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Jan 28, 2008 Lovely tart apple aroma. Crisp flavor, but too sweet in the finish. Substantially betterthan most fruit beers that I’ve tried, but still sweeter than I’d like. daniellerose7 (119), new york, New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 28, 2008 Smells like Mike & Ike’s.... tastes like Mike & Ike’s... the more I got into it the better I liked it. A good, fruity summer beer, but it could stand to be a little more subtle... Brouwser (119), gatineau, Quebec, Canada
DTM (541), Winters, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 24, 2008 As I opend the bottle, the smell of granny smith apples filled the air. Not quite as much apple taste. A dry apple finish. This beer left me wanting something more. Good but not great.
