Bottle, bought @ Ølkonsortiet, Aalborg. Pours a hazy, slightly muddy pale yellow. Head is foamy, white and quite large. It disappears rather quickly though. Aroma is heavy of green apples, quite sweet, lots of banana as well, wheat and slight fruity tartness. Rather high carbonation, a bit thin. Flavour is mild, slightly tart fruity. Lots of apples in the aftertaste, a bit of strawberries - getting sweeter by the second. Quite nice, but below par from Unibroue.

Bottle. Huge green apple aroma, sweet and tart. Interesting to smell this in a beer, moreso in a fresh one. Huge, excitable rocky white head, pale golden body with strong carbonation. Good deal of residual lace. Taste is a sideways, soft, cotton-candyish apple taste, sugary but without particles. Thin-bodied but somewhat crisp, well-hidden alcohol with a somewhat well hidden alcohol. In the end, this is a disappointment, buy my, the beginning was nice.

Looked great; good thick head; smelled like an apple factory had caught fire in my apartment. First one good; second one lousy. I would never drink more than a pint at a sitting... after the novelty of apples wears off, it becomes distinctly unamusing. Syrupy texture.

Bottle (330ml). Poured a pale golden colour with small chunks of sediment and a huge frothy head which lasted well. Aroma was of acidic apple juice with a fair amount of wheat, some sour green grapes and light vanilla notes. Taste was a mild acidic bitterness with notes of sweet apples backed up by musky wheat, light bready notes and some vanilla in the back. Medium bodied with an average finish.

12oz, smells like apple juice, taste is a lot lighter very bubbly and yields that traditional belgian funk yeast the bubblegum one... not bad not great though.

Poured a yellow with a white head. Bottle from a sampler, way too late in the evening after many beers on NYE. Probably the 3rd beer I drank in 2008. Smelled fruity, mostly green apples. Tasted like bubblegum and green apples. Nice dry mouthfeel. Odd. I’m glad I tried it. These guys make neato beers.

Feb. 2006 - What can I say about this beer? Well, it looked good...poured murky yellowish color with nice head and lacing. The aroma was strong and sweet...but threw up red flags for me. The flavor was of apples and spices...but just not good. I like very few fruit beers (outside of New Glarus) and this isn’t among them. Like many other fruit beers, this reminded me of cough syrup (artificial tasting).
