Nov 5, 2007 Pours hazed yellow w/ a full, spritzy froth. Short hangtime w/ decent lacework. Nice aromas of fresh apples and creamy vanilla. Very nice! Medium nectar w/ ample reidal effers. Only mildly sweet, the corriander speaks volumes. Good fruit compexities of apple, vanilla, banana, and slighty spiced. The finish is bittered mildly and really hangs in there w/ the fruit.

Nov 5, 2007 Bottle. Pours a light golden in color with a frothy white head, quickly fading into strings of lace. The aroma is a really light and fruity. Upon tasting, this is a light golden brew with a good bit of apple flavor. There is a good bit of bite in the background leading to a malty smooth finish.

Nov 4, 2007 Pours a light gold into the glass with minimal white head. The aroma is very fruity, perhaps best described as gummy bears. The taste is very sweet, bridging the gap between a beer and cider. Not bad, but a bit too sweet for my palate.

Nov 3, 2007 Updated: Dec 1, 2007Bottle. Pours a hazy gold, small white head that disappates quickly. Aroma is a nice sour apple. Flavor was sour apple, fruit, maybe some spice in the background. Taste does not overwhelm like the aroma suggests. Well done fruit beer, still tastes like a beer.

Nov 2, 2007 Another nice Ephemere from Unibroue. The apple is present and not overwhelming. It still tastes like beer and not some apple flavored beverage. The malt really comes through.

Nov 1, 2007 Pours cloudy pale yellow with a very thin white head. Nose is musty apple. Flavor is like stale apple cider, with a sour finish. Some yeasty notes that are interesting. I don’t like it.

Nov 1, 2007 341ml bottle. Poured with a 2 finger head with a rich amber colour. Intense bubblegum apple aromas.
When tasting I am met with a light citrus lemon flavour with hints of green apples. This bier had a surprisingly high amount of carbonation that I quite disliked. This was quite disappointing compared with the seasonal unibroue range.

THIS BEER CAME IN A SAMPLER 8 PACK FOR 16 BUCKS. STICKER SHOCK, BUT WORTH IT.
