Aroma is sour with apples, lemon, banana, and some yeast. Light on the palate. Flavor is of apples, lemon, and spices up front. Slightly tart and dry finish. Overall the flavor doesn’t quite match the aroma but this is still a somewhat decent brew. rodenbach99 (687), Longueuil, Quebec, Canada

Poured a clear, golden color with rising carbonation and a thick white head. Aroma of green apples dominates. Yeasty spice flavors greet the palate and lead into a nice apple flavor. Nice carbonation, and bites the mouth. Nice, easy drinking beer. BelgianBeerGal (1293), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Oct 1, 2007 bottle- light, refreshing, and a little thin, I could not drink more than one of these. A little too fizzy as well. This one is flavorable for sure, but could be better. jobyone (234), Charlotte, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 28, 2007 Pours clear Yellow. Definate apple aroma although it does depend on the glass. The flavor brings out the hints of coriander and spices. Nice refreshing aftertaste. A nice light refereshing drinking beer. illinismitty (1797), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 26, 2007 Updated: Sep 27, 2007Bottle from Corridor in Laurel, MD. Pours a hazy pale gold with a white head (looks like a wit). Wonderful aroma of fresh pear and apple. Medium to light bodied with fine spritzy but thin texture. Initial flavor of watered down belgian wheat malt that transitions to lots of apple mid palate. Moderate amount of sweetness. Apple carries through to the finish. Not bad, especially if you like apple. Could use a bit more heft in the body. Tastes like a cider and wit beer blend. goldbrew (99), USA

Obvious plenty of apple aroma. Sweetness at the finish. Great complement to an apple pie. Clearly not something to be a mainstay drinking beer but certainly a unique and good food pairing beer.
